La Folia, Bandra is an awesome place, They serve up the best pastries and bread I have ever tried in India. Passionate and Proud owners Chef Sanjana and Parthesh called upon us to change two existing vertical walls of 8ft x10ft to a food garden and so we did. We grew Microgreens and microherbs on one wall and Herbs and Spinach on the other. We conducted training for the staff on the benifits of Microgreens in food today and some basic growing techniques. The space has produced around 360kgs of greens in the last 18 months. ‘Zero Carbon Greens’ = food grown in a space where they are consumed and never see logistics. Microgreens are high in nutrition hence should be eaten when they are harvested and not dead decaying in a box. Chef Sanjana makes sure she always gives her customers only the best.
